The Polar Express

Mary Clare has been telling Margaret Rose about the Polar Express practically since the moment they met. She LOVED the train last year and has been eager to go back. Margaret Roses's school had a Polar Express party and so she was doubly excited. We left Columbia yesterday morning and had a good trip up to Cherokee. The girls sang carols and way too many choruses of Jingle Bells and The Twelve Days of Christmas. Actually this year we've only learned through day 8 but that's plenty enough days to make you a little crazy after about the 18-14th (this is a MC made up big number) time through. The weather was cold and rainy but didn't dampen the spirits of 2 little girls. They were just enchanted by the whole experience. Margaret Rose loved seeing Santa again and Mary Clare enjoyed the snacks! We got to be the 2 turtle doves again this year when it was time to sing 12 days. Can't wait to come back and ride again next year!
